EVERY MEETING IS AN INTERVIEW AND AN EVALUATION

Every time you meet someone you make an impression.  Others judge us by what we say, what we do, how we look, how we engage others and how we make them feel.  Life is a series of encounters and each encounter is like a mini interview and evaluation.  We take the sum of our encounters and make a judgment about a person.  As a result you should treat each encounter as an important opportunity to make a good impression.  These impressions are what we all rely on when we make decisions about who to consider for a promotion, who to hire to get a job done, who to invite to a meeting, whose opinion and advice we want.  Don’t leave random encounters to chance, instead commit to be prepared to make a good impression every time you open your mouth and walk out of your house.
