EVERY FAILURE CAN TEACH YOU SOMETHING ABOUT HOW TO SUCCEED

Every failure can teach you something about how to succeed.  I have said that success leaves clues and that is why I enjoy reading biographies and talking to people about how they achieved success and how they overcame setbacks, failures, challenges and troubles.  It is amazing how everyone that we esteem has a story of failure too.  In fact what successful people seem to do better than others is learn from their failures and have a steadfast commitment to persevere regardless of the trouble and difficulty they face.  My question to my Executives is do you have a plan on how to handle trouble before the trouble occurs?  IF not we create the plan and when challenges occur it is amazing how well they navigate the storms.  Conducting an After Action Review is a great teacher on what we did right and what we did wrong.  These insights teach us valuable lessons
